What are you doing?

For New Year's Eve?

As per tradition in the Luca and OMDG household, we are going to bed early, and getting up at sunrise (or earlier). Then we're going for a walk. It's nice to be out early so we can have the city to ourselves.

We haven't gone to a New Year's party in 5 years at least.

That is a fabulous idea! Love the notion of being up before anyone and having the city to yourselves! We are off to Niagara Falls with the kids...but they have a special celebration at 9pm which suits me just fine!

My wife made pizza we watched the NY's tv shows. I call New Year Eve "amateur night" at the bars.

I've been an early to bed person on New Years many times because getting up bright and early the next day means fresh pow pow. And no people. I like that combo muchly.

Last night I made a fillet mignon feast for Tobie and his parents. His mom didn't like how rare hers was but...that is the way fillet was meant to be eaten!

Then we watched some bad UK t.v. countdowns featuring such paroled acts as Boy George and George Michael. Weird. Missed the countdown because of Family Guy. I guess this makes us old dorks! :)

I haven't been up at midnight since 2000. Just don't see the point.
