Oh yeah, and I have a new poll too. This one wants to know what your least favorite class was your first year of med school. If your med school has a different curriculum, just put other and write in your answer in the comments.
My least favorite was Physiology. All of those ion channels and that godforsaken Nernst equation that I thought I had managed to leave behind in pre-med. That and that professor we had who TOTALLY had aspergers, who wore too short khakis with his black socks and Birkenstocks. And the exam!! Gah!
Good thing nobody actually ever fails that class.
Good thing it didn't matter AT ALL to the rest of my life as a medical student.

how is it possible to hate anything more than anatomy? at least the lab, anyway.
We had to take stastitics in our 1st year - didn't ever get worse than that.
Wait until OB/GYN in 3rd year - you ain't seen nothing yet.
Voted Embryology and Genetics.
Immunology almost caused me to have a complete melt down towards the end of 1st year. Memories of classmates freaking out, throwing books, crying, and sleeping on blow-up beds the day before in order to avoid the 20 minutes of study time they'd lose to drive home. I walked around the little back halls of the PhD labs with messy equipment strewn all about, going over and over and over the pathways. Traumatizing.

I'm not in med school, but I truly despise Immunology. Interesting topic, terrible class.
The only class I hated more than physiology was histology. I loved the actual subject of embryology, though the professor was pure evil.

I can't believe I forgot to include genetics in the poll! I knew I was forgetting something!
Glad to hear physio is not going to come back to bite me later on as I hated that class & live in fear that I'll have to revisit it 2nd year.
As a premed, I'm looking forward to all of them except for histo. I don't care much for slide work.
immensely glad, at this moment in time, I'm a psych major! My worst subject so far has been Personality Theories. I've met only one psych type person who liked it ... learned yesterday, quite to my horror that I get to take it AGAIN in graduate school ..EEEEKS!!!
