I am "older" an MD-PhD student, and I am obsessed with my dog. I started this program at the age of 29 after working in business and hating it for way too long. Then came the husband, and then the fur-child. Oh, the PhD's in Epidemiology. This blog is about the ups and downs of all of the above.
That is nuts. It looks like the dog is really into it, too. I can't train my dog to do anything. I have trained MiniMan to dance for cookies, though. I guess that probably doesn't count.
I know never in a million years could I have convinced my golden retriever to even just get up on her feet for more than half a second. But not sure I'd want to either :)

I'm amazed and also slightly creeped out when they do the backward walk/hip swiggle thing...
And by "some people," you mean me for watching the whole thing, yes? Because I did.
Hey, I've watched the whole thing 3 times already. I still find it amazing. And yes, the hip wiggling is a little bizarre.... and transfixing.
The dancing dogs of Mexico meet the dancing boys of Afghanistan.
Amazing... and vaguely disturbing too.
