I am "older" an MD-PhD student, and I am obsessed with my dog. I started this program at the age of 29 after working in business and hating it for way too long. Then came the husband, and then the fur-child. Oh, the PhD's in Epidemiology. This blog is about the ups and downs of all of the above.

Did you feel the earthquake??
My first earthquake in PENNSYLVANIA of all places!
I thought that some kids were jumping on my roof. Miss Boo was totally unfazed.
Maybe now I'll be able to get Luca to consider SF as an option for residency....
Felt it a couple hours north of Philly. Wasn't bothered enough to stop working, tho'. California upbringing has made me earthquake-blase. Surprised Boo was unfazed!

We thought it was just a bunch of overexcited undergrads running around on the floors below the labs. :)
Meh. I've been through 4-5. Most of them I didn't even know had happened until afterwards.

a couple of the nurses claimed they felt it in one of the ORs. I felt nothing.
